practice-homeSituated Conveniently opposite Brixham Hospital, The Greenswood Surgery offers a high standard of health care in comfortable surroundings. Their approachable staff are available from 8.30am - 6pm weekdays only.

We also can offer some early morning appointments to see the Practice Nurse.

Morning and evening surgeries are run on an appointment system and each morning there are appointments available for urgent on the day consultations.

The Doctors have now introduced a Triage system, when the Doctor will contact you if you have an urgent health problem; virtually guaranteeing that you are able to see a Doctor on the day you choose.

The practice has three Practice Nurses, two Health Care Assistants, a Practice Manager, one Secretary and seven part time Receptionists.

The next PRACTICE HALF DAY CLOSING - Thursday 23rd March from 12.30pm

 If you need a doctor urgently when the surgery is closed & cannot wait until the following day, there will be a medical service available throughout the Bay during the afternoon who will deal with any emergency. If you require medical advice please contact any of the following numbers:

  • Devon Doctors on Call  0845 6710 270 – to contact the duty doctor
  • NHS Direct  0845 46 47 - for advice only.

At present we have an Open but Closed list which means we can accept relatives of patients already registered and Temporary Patients.

September 2011 - we have just completed a random patient survey, please find the results on the website. From our findings of the survey results : we would like to remind all our patients that you can book an appointment up to 2 months in advance to see the Doctor or Nurse.

 

Meningitis C vaccine now available to any patient under the age of 24.
